We worked with local business Dahlia to organise an event to open their new store. This included designing promotional material, setting up a pop up print shop, putting on live music and a DJ set and creating social media content.
APH Studio was a female design collective set up to create innovative designs to promote nightlife and live music events across the city and design material that connects with Edinburgh’s creative community in order to promote female and LGBTQI+ creative talent. Our aim was also to collaborate with local businesses on events to enable young female and LGBTQI+ identifying creatives to network and connect in an environment they feel comfortable and relaxed. To achieve this, we aimed to work with local artists, designers, musicians, DJs and businesses in Edinburgh and create bright, bold printed material to promote our events and encourage conversation.
HOTLINE, THE BONGO CLUB
We worked with The Bongo Club formulate another event to encourage relaxed networking and sharing of work for local creatives, with a focus on celebrating artwork by female and LGBTQI+ creatives. This project included designing large-scale promotional material, creating social media content and digital promotion, curating an exhibition, collectively screenprinting collaborative artwork and running city-wide advertising and local press coverage.
